Fuel injection test set, 50199

The car fuel pressure diagnostic kit is suitable for most vehicles with a fuel injection system with petrol or gas engines (except Bosch, CIS Jetronic, Throttle Body Systems on GM cars).
Not suitable for diesel engines with high pressure injection pump or direct injection engines due to the low pressure range of the manometer.
Fuel pressure testing is an essential part of the fuel injection system troubleshooting process.

Low fuel pressure can be caused by kink/leak/clog on inlet supply side components, a bad fuel pump or regulator, low tank pressure
High fuel pressure may be caused by a bad fuel pressure regulator or kincked outlet return line.

For the diesel engine emission system to function properly, the strength of the DEF solution must be maintained at 32.5% urea. Over time, the strength of the solution may change by evaporation, resulting in a reduction in the aqueous component of the solution or contamination.
