Indicator range: -7°C to -37°C ( +25°F to -34°F.)
Pure antifreeze will freeze at -12°C /10.4°F.
It permits to determine, with good approximation, the freezing point of the anti-freeze/coolant in the radiator and to reset the required protection level.
Floating orange disc shows over protection and loss of efficiency.
